Trust levels you can see — and helpers can earn
Every GetHelpy profile carries a trust level, so families know exactly how a helper has been verified. The more a helper verifies, the more confidently families can choose them.
Basic profile
A complete, moderator-approved profile. The helper is real and their details have been reviewed before going live.
ID verified
An optional government-ID check, matched to the profile by a moderator. We're rolling this out as GetHelpy grows — helpers will be able to earn this badge.
Trusted
Earned when 3 or more different families you've worked with confirm a reference. The strongest signal a family can see — you can start collecting references from your profile today.
The same signal, everywhere you look
Trust levels show up consistently across GetHelpy, so you always know who you're talking to.
Families can tap the badge to see exactly what was checked. ID & background-check badges arrive as those checks roll out.
How much a signal can be trusted
Not every signal is equal. We show all three, clearly labelled — so "kind and reliable" is never confused with proof.
Said by the helper
Traits like "patient", "non-smoker", "loves children". Useful context — shown, but not treated as proof.
Checked by our team
A document we reviewed — ID, a first-aid certificate, a diploma, legal status. Carries a "verified" badge.
Proven by real families
References, reviews, confirmed skills, "Trusted with home access" — earned through real work. The highest weight.
Badges by service
Each badge maps to something families in that service actually ask for. We don't add badges for the sake of it.
